Job Overview:

As a Consultant – Business Transformation, you

  • will be involved in pre-sales activities, responding to RFPs and tenders, and preparing winning proposals.
  • will play a crucial role in working with our clients to analyse and enhance their business processes, driving efficiency and performance improvements.
  • will use your expertise to contribute to innovative solutions that align with our clients’ strategic objectives.
  • manage client projects or lead workstreams within large projects end-to-end independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including engaging with clients and understanding their business needs.
  • Respond to RFPs and tenders, preparing comprehensive proposals/ presentations that align with client expectations and organizational capabilities.
  • Participate in client presentations as part of pre-sales pitches, showcasing our expertise and proposed solutions.
  • As part of business process reengineering projects, conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, considering operational and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design new processes, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Utilise data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on new processes and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in business process reengineering methodologies.
  • Independently handle client projects or workstreams, demonstrating effective project management and execution skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in business process reengineering or process improvement roles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from a globally recognised and reputed certification body.
  • Proven pre-sales experience with a strong background in responding to RFPs and developing winning proposals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and statistical analysis using MS Visio, Minitab, SAS JMP or other similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of additional process improvement/ problem solving frameworks such as 8D Problem Solving, TQM, EFQM, Baldrige Excellence Framework, and ISO is preferred.
