Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Blue Ocean’s vision and objectives in India, aligning with the overall corporate goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in India, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency across Training, Consulting, and Conference Services.
  • Lead Blue Ocean India to achieve growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities, expansion plans, and potential partnerships.
  • Drive compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, government bodies, and industry associations.
  • Actively drive business development initiatives to grow client portfolios and increase market penetration.
  • Develop a high-performance work culture that aligns with Blue Ocean’s values and encourages innovation, inclusivity, and growth.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the leadership team and ensure ongoing development and retention of top talent.
  • Develop and oversee the annual budget for the India division, ensuring effective financial planning and cost control.
  • Monitor revenue and profitability metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet financial targets.
  • Represent Blue Ocean at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior executive role.
  • Strong expertise in corporate sales, B2B environments, and strategic business growth.
  • Proven track record in scaling business operations.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in P&L management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and using performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • High level of adaptability, resilience, and cultural awareness, especially within diverse and dynamic markets.
